First, the good news:  One of WLGAN’s fearless leaders, Cory Amron, has been selected by the ABA Commission on Women to receive a Margaret Brent Award at the Annual Meeting in Chicago, Aug 2, in part because of her work with you all on WLG/WLGAN.  It would be great to see you there to celebrate!  HERE’s the Notice and here’s information about the award.

Now to the urgent news:  Please Find a Place Saturday to Stand/Sit for 1-2 hours.  Here’s Why:

How many of your “lines in the sand” has this authoritarian administration crossed so far?  Unconstitutional war in the Middle East? Illegal tariffs roiling the economy? Destruction of entire federal agencies with devastating life and death consequences in third world countries? Destroying programs assisting women and people of color in overcoming decades of discrimination? Tearing down part of the White House? Corruption and grift?

The purpose of the No Kings rally is to make it clear that we will not be passive when an authoritarian is trying to take our jobs, our future, and our Constitution from us. One way to send that message lies within your power.  It’s not enough to hit the angry emoji on your social media and “share” the latest news.

We have to be even more visible and vocal at the 3rd “No Kings” rally on Sat. March 28 than we were in the second rally; we have to surpass October’s No Kings’ collective, national gathering of 7 Million people.

WHEN: Saturday, MARCH 28.
WHERE: If you will be in the DC area, please send me an email and I will let you know where we are meeting.
If you can’t come to DC, find a place near you using the map at this link.

Wherever you attend a No Kings rally, however, please bring 2 people who are new to No Kings with you.
