WOMEN-DOMINATED PROFESSIONS ATTACKED
Women’s professions are being stripped of their dignity, gravitas, and the ability to finance student education.
You may not be aware, but this has already happened under the Big “Ugly” Bill, passed earlier this year, for certain medical professions- limiting loans to $50,000 per year. And regulations are expected in January to squeeze women-dominated professions even more, including nursing, public health, social work and physical therapists.
How? The Trump administration will be proposing a far stricter cap, $20,500 a year, for students pursuing graduate degrees in these women-dominated professions. They will be stripped of their “professional” designations so that they will no longer entitled to a higher cap for a professional program!
Of course, this is only the first step in de-legitimizing professions that are dominated by women and forcing them out of the professional workforce.
