WE NEED TO INCREASE OUR VISIBILITY FOR DEMOCRACY –Bring 3 Friends!
When: Thursday, JULY 17, 2025
Where: At a location (and time) near you- map here: https://goodtroubleliveson.org/
In DC at 5:30 PM – meet us in front of the National Museum of Women in the Arts 1250 New York Ave, NW
Troubled by the events of the last months? Wondering what you can do about Supreme Court rulings taking away our rights and firing federal workers? About unchecked presidential demands? About ICE and the executive branch gone cruelly, illegally and unconstitutionally rogue? We need to get more visible and vocal. If you absolutely can’t attend, send friends!
“Good Trouble Lives On” is a national day of action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.
Coined by civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis, “Good Trouble” is the act of coming together to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change. Good Trouble is marches, protests, service work – any action where communities come together, take a stand against wrongdoings, and speak truth to power.
The civil rights leaders of the past have shown us the power of collective action. That’s why on July 17, five years since the passing of Congressman John Lewis, they are calling on Americans across the country to Make Good Trouble Together.
Send photos from wherever you are that day! See you on the 17th!
Cory
