VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Lawyers

• Rise UP: Legal Defense Network – see prior email for description. https://workerslegaldefense.org/lawyers.   They do not have enough lawyers for the flood of workers who need these services!  Training and expert supervision is provided.
• Federal Rulemaking summaries– a national organization is searching for lawyers to monitor certain federal notices of proposed rulemaking and create summaries that the organization can post on social media.  Please email [email protected] if you would like to assist.
• Assist Election Officials– The Election Official Legal Defense Network provides officials with pro bono assistance in response to questions, harassment, threats and targeting.  For the most part, volunteers help officials in the state in which they are licensed.  Training is provided.  Sign up here: https://eoldn.org/get-involved/  Questions?  Contact Project Lead: Angie Pitha:  [email protected].
