The huge majority of lawyers in the US not only care about the Constitution they uphold it as sacrosanct. They wouldn’t dream of not following the rule of law, their ethical codes and their oath as lawyers. Unfortunately, we are seeing some – the tiny but powerful minority- who are flouting these most basic pillars of our democracy.
Here are 3 ways to make your support more visible (non-lawyers are more than welcome to assist as well):
- May 1, 2025 at noon: NATIONAL LAW DAY OF ACTION. Come to the federal courthouse in your city and reaffirm your oath to the Constitution and the law. It is important that there is a massive showing at this event. Here is the link to sign up and/or help organize in your city: www.lawdayofaction.org.

- April 15, 2025 noon ET: SPEAK UP FOR JUSTICE online rally. This is an easy one – no need to leave your computer. Speakers include: U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas, Dean of Berkeley Law School, Erwin Chemerinsky. - The deceptively titled SAVE Act was passed by the House last week. It is urgent that you call you Senators – whether they are D or R- and express your profound dissent to this bill. It is a wolf of a voter suppression bill dressed up in deceptive lamb clothes. It is a solution in search of a non-problem. It will disenfranchise millions of women – especially those with no passports (half the population) and those who have changed their name upon marriage!
